I had the privilege of spending New Year's Day with this lovely young lady and her mother.  It had snowed a couple days earlier, and we were left with just the right amount for a session.  It was a little chilly, but that didn't stop us from having an awesome time!  Mia hasn't had professional portraits taken since she was a baby, but she wasn't shy at all.  By the end of her session, she was coming up with her own locations and poses for me.  I absolutely love when clients get excited about having their portraits taken!  Even more importantly, we got her mom in for a few shots.  Mom wasn't expecting to be photographed, but it turns out those are her favorite images from the session.  Now her daughter can look back on these photos and have beautiful memories of those moments of togetherness.  I love being able to give that gift to families!
