Checking off our summer bucket list alreadyDo you have a summer bucket list? I do. Massachusetts summers feel like they get shorter every year. Now that I have a gradeschooler, it seems even more important to make plans and remember to squeeze in quality family time while we can. Last night, we checked off a biggie for this summer - and it certainly won't be a one-time deal. My dad (aka Grampy) took my son fishing. I haven't been fishing in a good 20 years. I don't eat fish, so there's not much point. But I forgot about the best part of fishing - the part where you hang out next to a pond for a couple of hours and just sit. We chatted, we caught some fish, and we saw some cool wildlife. Did you know ospreys and river otters live right here in Auburn? I do now, because I slowed down and watched for a while. And, of course, I brought along my camera. This is a prime example of lifestyle photography. None of this is posed. This is just our little fishing adventure, in photo form.
